She holds a Law degree and a Master of Laws degree, both with honors, from the Faculty of Law, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). In 2009 she was awarded by UNAM with the “Gabino Barreda” medal for her academic excellence. She is currently a candidate for a PhD in Law at the same University.
She joined the firm in 2013. She has extensive experience in counseling and litigation, in all judicial instances, in intellectual property matters, mainly in the pharmaceutical area. Her practice also focuses on the protection and defense of distinctive signs in Mexico and abroad; coordination and follow-up with correspondents abroad; administrative declaration procedures of nullity, caducity, cancellation and infringement; strategies and legal actions in administrative and criminal matters to combat piracy and unfair competition.
She has been an article writer and lecturer in several forums specialized in intellectual property law. She is a member of the intellectual property research line of the Institute of Legal Research, UNAM.
