She has a professional practice of more than 15 years in Intellectual Property, providing advice on matters relating to trademarks, patents, trade secrets, copyrights, the film industry, unfair competition, franchises and litigation in these areas.
Graduated from Universidad de las Américas A.C. (UDLA), and completed a specialization in Intellectual Property Law at the Ilustre y Nacional Colegio de Abogados de México A.C., and a postgraduate course in Intellectual Property at the Universidad de Castilla la Mancha, in Toledo, Spain.
She has attended Intellectual Property specialization courses in Mexico and in the United States of America, at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), as well as courses given by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the European Patent Office (EUIPO).
She collaborated as head of the Department of Litigation Affairs at the National Copyright Institute (INDAUTOR) and is currently a partner of the firm where she provides consulting services in this area and coordinates the litigation of trademark, patent and copyright disputes.
She has participated as a speaker in several courses and conferences related to intellectual property matters at Universities in Mexico City. She is a professor of Intellectual Property Law at Universidad de las Américas (UDLA).
Currently, she is a member of the Interamerican Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI).
